My donation is to carry on the legacy and true spirit of giving that our mother, Janet Fortune instilled in my sister Becky Dixon and I! Keep on rolling Becky, Rich and Ernie!

In memory of my wife, Karen, who always loved to help out kids when they needed it the most.

I have joined the challenge. I am a walker and for 7 years I have walked 6,000,000 steps a year, or 3,000 miles. I realize there is a challenge gift to match miles gained but I too will donate a $1 a mile for each time I record my miles. This is a truly solid effort on your part and I want to do my part as well. Praise be to Him who takes our small efforts and makes them profoundly impactful. I am humbled by what you are doing. Randy

Update on my miles and donations. Miles for Weeks 20-26 are 511.51 for $511.51 in donations. So, for the half year, 1,562 miles and $1,562. I am halfway there.

I have been donating but just realized that is not updating my miles. I am now up to date. When I signed up, I wanted to do 3,000 for the year and agreed to match what the donor is paying. So, I will not make 3,000 by September 30 but will by Dec 31. I hope that still works.
