About the Campaign

I’d like to invite you to join me on an amazing journey called FREEDOM TOUR 2023. I’m joining a remarkable team of cyclists and volunteers on three different rides this summer.

This whole thing began for me with a 2-block handcycle ride in 1999. Those blocks grew into a God-sized dream, a 1500-mile ride along the Mississippi River in 2011. I thought it was a one-time deal, but God had other ideas.

In 2013, my wife Becky and I hung up a sign at our church and invited people to go on a bike ride. An 11-person team cycled 500 miles from Cheyenne, Wy to Raton Pass at the Colorado/New Mexico border.

Since 2013, more than 1,000 cyclists have cranked thousands of miles to support the kids at Project Rescue’s HOME OF HOPE. I hope you’ll join us in helping these children live and grow in freedom.
